The Riverside County Probation Office S Mission Is To Serve Courts, Protect The Community And Change Lives. The Department Provides Delinquency Prevention And Intervention Services, Provides Programs Of Investigations And Supervision For Adult And Juvenile Probationers, Provides Juvenile Services Of Intake And Detention Control And Operates And Maintains Juvenile Detention Facilities. The Probation Department Operates As Participant IN Several Specialized Units That Concentrate On Specific Areas Of The Population, Such As Domestic Violence Supervision, Youth Accountability Boards, The Youth Accountability Team, Gang Suppression Unit, Drug Task Force, The Computer And Technology Crimes High Tech Response Team, The Recovery Opportunity Center, The Kids With Guns Program And The California Armed And Prohibited Program.
